Creation story
I am Mikyle — mother, maker and the woman behind maiden mother crone. This journey began during the pregnancy and birth of my son, when my own passage from maiden into motherhood awakened within me a longing for clothing that could soften, expand and change alongside
my changing heart.
From that first golden thread of inspiration, maiden mother crone slowly came into being — a love-filled offering of garments created to honour and celebrate the beauty of women through the many seasons and cycles of life.

#1
The flowing feminine
Created from the fire of the True heart and a deep love of beauty, our dresses are designed to honour the flowing feminine as she waxes & wanes through the seasons and cycles of life ever changing.
We honour the playful season of the maiden,
the fullness of the mother and
the cycle of the wisening crone.

#2
Celebrating motherhood
Pregnancy, birth and the tender postpartum season ask something different from both a woman and the garments she wears.
Our flowing silhouettes are created with this season in mind — soft, natural and spacious enough to accommodate a changing body, while remaining beautiful, flattering and comfortable. Thoughtful shapes allow for ease of movement and breastfeeding, accompanying a woman gently through pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.
Garments that make room for the body to change, without asking a woman to leave themselves behind.

#3
In the details
Guided by our love of the Earth, we choose to work with natural fibres and earthy tones that reflect the quiet beauty of the natural world.
Each of our dresses is carefully finished with French seams — a timeless method of construction that encloses the raw edges of the fabric, creating a stronger, more beautiful finish designed to endure.

#4
Taking care
Our fabric off-cuts are thoughtfully repurposed into handmade drawstring bags — serving first as packaging for your garment, and thereafter as a reusable washing bag.
On wash day, simply place your maiden mother crone garment inside its bag, gently close the drawstrings and wash with similar colours on a cool, gentle cycle.
This simple ritual of care helps protect the integrity of your garment, supporting its longevity so that it may be lived in, loved and returned to for many seasons to come.

#5
The art of eco printing
Plant and earth merge with water and air,
transformed by fire, held
within the mystery of the elements —
combined in the spirit of co-creation.
No two pieces can ever be the same.
Each garment, a unique expression of this
elemental alchemy.
SLOW TIME
Like a garden, maiden mother crone is tended
This is not a fast fashion business.
Our garments are created slowly, in small batches, moving through many hands and stages before becoming something that can be worn and loved.
This organic rhythm has always been an essential part of the way that I tend this living creation.
Making space, slowing time, choosing care and intention over urgency and excess.
Maiden mother crone lives alongside the rest of my life — mothering and caring for a family, tending land and animals, milking goats, and holding space for my primary focus: an alternative heart-based school.
Like a garden, I tend this work seasonally,
giving it my love and attention as time and space allow.
Orders are gathered, lovingly packaged and sent out once a week.
In a world increasingly shaped by immediacy, I hope this slower rhythm might offer something of value in itself.
An invitation to wander through these pages rather than rush. To choose thoughtfully.
To buy what you truly love and will wear often.
And, when you do order something, to allow the waiting to become part of its story.
There was once a particular sweetness in anticipation — in knowing that something beautiful was making its way towards us.
I would love to preserve a little of that here.
Good things take time.
And perhaps, when we allow them to, they teach us how to slow down too.
With Love,
Mikyle
